Poblano peppers UNCOATED


Ingredients:

• 6 Poblano peppers $2.00

• 2 cups of refried beans $0.50

•   fresh cheese $2.00

• 2 tbsp. of Maicena $0.05

• Epazote $0.10

• Chicken broth (natural) $0.05

• Garlic $0.10

• Onion $0.20

Preparation:

-Roast the Poblano peppers and put them in a plastic bag to sweat.

-Remove the veins and the peel that protects them carefully, so you don’t break them.

-Fill in four peppers with fresh cheese and close them with wooden chopsticks or a thread around, so that the cheese doesn’t come out.

-Liquefy the other 2 peppers with epazote, garlic and onion.

-In a deep saucepan, put under low heat the cornstarch and add the green sauce. Add   cup of chicken broth.

-Add the stuffed peppers and let them simmer for 7 minutes.

*This dish can be served with a spoonful of refried beans.
