Quinoa with vegetables


Ingredients:

• 1 cup raw quinoa (rice substitute)

• 2 cups of water

• 2 tbsp. of lemon juice

• several vegetables

• salt, garlic salt and pepper to taste

preparation:

–In a pot put to boil a cup of water with a pinch of salt.

–When it is hot, empty the quinoa and lower the heat. The preparation of quinoa is similar to rice.

–Once the water is consumed and the quinoa is cooked, add the lemon juice, pepper and garlic salt.

–If you wish, you can incorporate vegetables such as assorted colored bell peppers, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower finely chopped.
