Ready to go back to school?

This time we would like you to add to your pending list: “Prepare healthy school lunches for my children.”

If your schedule and budget allow it, we recommend that you make school lunches each day for your children and send them to school with healthy options such as seasonal fruits and vegetables, and in this way you will know exactly what they are eating and drinking daily.

On the other hand, if your children qualify for the school lunch, we recommend that you get involved with your children in the decisions they will make to choose their food, since the menu is published every week and you can talk with them about the best options that are offered.

Be sure to explain that drinking natural water is the best option, and that in case they want to drink milk, to choose milk without flavor, and to make sure that there are plenty of fruits and vegetables on their plate.

In this way you can teach your children to make more strategic decisions, thinking about taking care of their health. And don’t think that your children are not prepared to talk about these issues, because at school they have classes about their health care.

So, if you reinforce this topic at home, it will have a better impact on the development of your children.
