Eat healthy during the summer
When you have a reunion or when your friends invite you to eat a BBQ, we recommend taking into account the variety of dishes that are available, because many of them are prepared with excess sauces, dressings and oils, which results in these dishes containing a high content of fat.
If we talk about the excessive consumption of starchy cereals, we have to reduce the amount of pasta, tortillas, breads and chips that we always use to accompany our meat.

But the greatest risk is in sugary drinks and desserts, because when we go to reunions we are easily convinced to accept a cola or a beer; and the worst thing is when we accept several drinks and we accompany them with two or three dessert options that were available in the succulent table that had cookies, cake, ice cream and gelatins with eggnog.
Don’t stop enjoying your reunion, but we advise you to be moderate at the time of serving your meal. Try filling half of your plate with vegetables and enjoy your drink or your dessert, but choose which of them you will eat. Remember that it is not good to have both. For example, if you decided to eat a slice of cheese pie with strawberries, perfect, enjoy it; but at lunchtime, accompany your food with natural water.
