Replacing food
When someone recommends that we substitute foods that we normally consume for some healthier option or that favors our body, it isn’t an easy thing. One has to put aside memories of smell, texture, color, and no doubt the hardest part is taste.
Like everything, the beginning is always complicated; but as time goes on, we adapt and even take pleasure in the change.
Well, last week, we gave you the example of tortillas, which are originally made from corn and refined flour; both undoubtedly delicious, but nowadays we need to replace the raw material; that is, the basis of its elaboration.

all love, but we can make coconut, oatmeal and flax, or green plantain (also known as banana, guineo or cambur) tortillas.
This is fortunate for people with diabetes or a reaction to gluten (which refined flours contain), because now they can find alternatives to continue enjoying our dishes such as tacos, that without the tortilla are not tacos, right?
Although, as always, our recommendation is to eat all food with moderation so that we don’t spoil our healthy eating plan.
