Enjoying the World Cup healthy


The World Cup began and with it came the desire to eat some snacks and sugary or alcoholic drinks in order to calm the stress when we are watching our team fighting to win the game. Unfortunately, the last thing we think about is that those dishes be healthy; that's why we want to share some recommendations that will help you eat better.

According to the schedules in which the games will take place, we face the challenge of the food we eat at breakfast and lunch; so we ask you to have control over the consumption of those that are prepared with dough as: tortillas, gorditas, quesadillas, sopes, pupusas, tlacoyos, champurrado, etc.

Commonly we think that we will meet with friends and family to enjoy the game eating some delicious green ‘chilaquiles’ and it would not be bad if it were just a game, but remember that this passion for football lasts more than a month.

For those who like spicy food, a better option could be to prepare a meat with potatoes and purslane in green sauce. And for those who don’t consume spicy food, you could prepare some meat pancakes in red stew; that is, one can eat delicious and healthy without needing to be bored.
