Stuffed bell peppers cook au gratin for 6 people with $ 5
Ingredients:
• 3 colored bell peppers $1.00
• 1 lb. of ground beef $2.00
• 2 red tomatoes $0.25
• 1 potato $0.25
• 1 carrot $0.25
• ½ onion $0.25
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 cup of mozzarella cheese $1.00
Preparation:
-Wash and cut the bell peppers in half, and remove the veins.
-Finely chop garlic and onion, and fry them in a pan with the ground meat.
-Liquefy the tomato and add it to the meat, in order to draw more juice.
-Wash, peel and finely chop potato and carrot.
-Add to the meat and let simmer for 10 min.
-Fill bell peppers with the meat.
-Cover pepper with mozzarella cheese.
-Bake at 350º F for 15 min.
