Roasted thighs in orange juice with asparagus with $5 budget.


Ingredients:

• 4 chicken thighs without skin $1.50

• 1 cup of orange juice (natural) $1.00

• 3 garlic cloves finely chopped $0.10

• 1 pack of asparagus $2.40

Process:

* If you have a chance when you buy the thighs, ask them to remove the bones and flatten them.

* When cutting the orange to extract the juice, separate 2 or 3 slices for the asparagus and squeeze them.

-Marine the thighs with orange juice, salt, pepper and garlic.

-Reheat the oven to 425 °F, put the thighs in a tray and cover them with aluminum foil. Bake for 35 min.

-In another tray, put the asparagus and sprinkle a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper and bake for 10-15 min.

This dish can be accompanied with brown rice.
