Pay attention to what you eat

The cold season doesn’t want to leave, but that’s no excuse to let our desires defeat us and continue eating things that don’t leave us with anything good.

From now on, when you sit in your living room watching a movie or your favorite series, avoid eating so many snacks; because without realizing it, we can eat in an hour more than 1000 calories, since most people don’t read the labels of food and therefore do not realize everything that they are consuming.

Did you know that about 1 oz. of classic potato chips (15 pieces) equal 150 calories? Did you know that the family size bag contains 8 to 10 servings?

Perhaps, you are thinking at this moment that the last time you had some, you ate the whole bag; and worse, those times we added Valentina sauce, because we increased a few calories more. The problem is not eating them, the problem is the amount we eat, but what happens when we give the whole bag to our children without thinking that we are hurting them?

That’s why we suggest you to prepare shredded jicama, cucumbers with lime, shredded carrots with lime, chopped strawberries, or oranges with Tajin.

It is better that your family consume fresh fruits and vegetables prepared at home to avoid diseases and, in addition, save money.
