Chicken fajitas with peppers for 6 people with $ 5 budget


Ingredients:

• 1 lb. chicken breast cut into thin strips $3

• 1 onion $0.50

• 1 small red pepper $0.50

• 1 small green pepper $0.50

• 1 small yellow pepper $0.50

• Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

- In a frying pan, put the chicken strips, previously sprinkled with salt and pepper, until they are well cooked.

- Cut the vegetables into strips.

- When the meat is brown and leaves color in the pan, add onions and peppers and a little water to make them cook with the steam.

- Cover the pan and leave for a few minutes until the water evaporates, and repeat the process until the vegetables are completely soft.

- This dish is served hot and can be accompanied with a green sauce, but be careful with the excess of tortillas because that will take away the healthy quality of the dish.
