Peppers stuffed with ground beef and potatoes in tomato sauce - Recipe for 6 people with a budget of


Ingredients:

• 6 poblano peppers $2

• 1 lb. of ground beef $2

• 1 large finely chopped potato $0.25

• 4 tomatoes $0.50

• ½ onion $0.15

• 1 garlic clove $0.10

Process:

In this dish the stuffed peppers are not battered.

- Bake the peppers at 350º for 10 minutes. Put them inside a plastic bag to sweat.

- Clean peppers by removing skin and seeds.

- In a frying pan, add a little chopped onion and put the ground meat to cook and when ready (change color) add the potatoes.

- Fill peppers with ground meat and potatoes.

- Blend the tomato, garlic and onion to make a sauce.

- Season the sauce in a deep pot, add salt and pepper.

- Add 2 cups of water and boil for 3 minutes.

- Add the peppers to the sauce and serve this hot stew.
