We finally passed the long weekend test with all the delicious temptations that Thanksgiving brings with it; mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, freshly baked bread, apple pie, pumpkin pie, corn salad, tamales, etc., etc.
The question is: Who passed the test of not exceeding the consumption of carbohydrates?
I think most of us didn’t think about counting because we like to see our plates full and we don’t think that it hurts us.
It’s not about scolding, it is about learning, because a long season of family reunions comes along with delicious food, but mostly with not-so-healthy recipes, or where the portions are not the most appropriate. So, let's talk first of not staying with the craving for anything, but without filling the plates so much.
Make an attempt to eat small portions, moreover, almost taste them so that you don’t stay craving for anything, if you are one of those who like to eat everything.
Remember, the first recommendation for this holiday season, use "eating" spoons to serve yourself. Do not serve with the spoon of the pot.
