The first day is set as an orientation for the participants to know what to expect from the training program. The students have local members of the community to assist them in future career planning. The rest of the event is filled with educational business presentation and guest speakers like Burns & McDonnell Vice President, Gabe Hernandez, Federal Reserve Assistant Vice President, Erika Ramirez, and Liz Serpa-Flook and the marketing team from the Power & Light District. In an effort to keep students safe, KC BizFest was rescheduled due to inclement weather.
