Long live the Super Bowl!

This Sunday, at the Mercedes—Benz stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, the Super Bowl LIII is going to be played between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams.

And although the Chiefs of Kansas City couldn’t reach this longed for game, they had a great season, which kept the whole crowd excited. All over the city, you could see the shirts and jackets of the team — especially on ‘red Friday.’ The city wanted to once again, (as in other sports), have a champion at home; and although it didn’t happen, people are excited and will follow this game with a lot of emotion.

Again, a sporting event serves to bring families together and, although some do not like this sport so much, it is a good excuse to share with the family.

Of course, and as always, the merchants take advantage of the occasion offering everything that “is needed” to have a good time; and the premiere of the new television commercials are part of the game’s appeal.

Besides the interesting things surrounding the whole event, the cold days of February don’t leave much choice to do something better. It is very likely that —as with other sporting events— the women will end up talking and mingling in the kitchen, while the men shout and get excited in front of the television, but that is also part of sharing with the family.

Long live the Super Bowl!
