STOP! Think before you act
Be careful with the consumption of raw foods, mainly those fruits and vegetables that we buy which are so beautiful and organized in a box or plastic bag, because we assume that they are already clean and disinfected.

On one occasion in the supermarket, a lady paid for her beautiful box of fresh strawberries, and opened it to give one to her baby who had a large craving.
How dangerous it is to do that! Even though some fruits don’t look dirty, they do contain bacteria that are not visible to the naked eye or that aren’t found in the dirt. Strawberries, for example, have small seeds and a green stem that keeps bacteria, so it is necessary to disinfect them before removing the stem.
In the market they sell products to disinfect fruit or vegetables that can’t be scrubbed because the peel is delicate; but for all those fruits and vegetables that have peel and have to be peeled, it’s not overkill to wash them with soap and a special brush or sponge.
Please make sure you don’t use the same sponge to wash the dishes, because that also contaminates the food; nor dry the fruits and vegetables with the towel that dries the dishes, although these are already clean. We must be careful to prevent diseases due to lack of hygiene.
