Wolves in sheep's clothing
"Anyone who drives slower than me, is useless, a turtle. Anyone who drives faster than me is crazy, unconscious."
- The majority of drivers.
There are many men, and not a few women, who are cheerful, friendly and cordial ... until they get in their car. Once behind the steering wheel, they become “wolves behind it.”
Whether they travel in another lane or in front of them, they have critical, intolerant and even aggressive attitudes towards other drivers.
These kinds of people always want to “win” and “give a lesson” to anyone who gets in their way.
“Hey you old man ... hurry up”, “You had to be a woman!”, “Look!”, “Come on, leave your cell phone!”, “Move!” These and many others are the phrases that they are saying all the way, until they reach their destination, where they return to “normality”.

We know that everyone at some time —whether by distraction, by some urgency or worry— makes mistakes when driving; but when we are affected by those mistakes, we are sometimes unaware of it. In the same way, the long distances that we have to travel and the increasing traffic of the city, cause a lot of stress to some people.
Like many other things, bad driving habits can be contagious: if everyone is speeding, why don’t I? If everyone waits until the last moment to change to the exit lane, why not me? If everyone takes the lane to exit the highway and then continues as if they were just entering, in order to pass some vehicles, why not me?
All these types of faults that some commit due to traffic and haste make us fall into an absurd game of “I won’t let you win” or “I won’t let you,” which is harmful for everyone.
There will always be people that when someone tells them “you drive very fast” and/or “it seems that nobody can win over you,” they take it as a great compliment. Maybe those “little races on the highway” are the only thing they have won in their lives, so for them that is very important ... Is it you?
We must remember that prudence is the best companion when driving.
Be calm! A few minutes before or a few minutes later, but without risks ... you will arrive for sure.
