What awaits us?
This is something we always ask ourselves in the face of unfavorable or uncertain situations that endanger our way of life (or at least that’s what they look like).
It is clear that it’s impossible to remain indifferent towards an event that could be dangerous or cause us some physical or economic damage. But in any given situation, we always have two alternatives. The first is to think about the worst that can happen, which puts us on alert and makes us act cautious, but this causes us much stress and exhaustion.
The other option is to think that what is to come can’t be so bad and that maybe it will bring positive things, so we will stay calmer.
It’s a personal decision how to act in these situations, but we must take into account that if we all think badly, this can lead to collective hysteria; while by being calmer, we can think more rationally about what we will do if things get really bad. Either way, whether good or bad, what will happen, will happen and if it’s not in our hands to avoid it, then the best thing to do is to wait patiently to see what happens.
Tomorrow President-elect Donald Trump will take the office and although much has been said about his lack of ability to run this country and his difficult personality, we have to wait to see if his business skills help him govern.
Also, let us consider that there will be many people around him that will surely be there to advise him and help him make the most appropriate decisions for the good of this country and the world.
QUOTE OF THE DAY
