It’s time to begin 2017 with the right foot, with good resolutions and with enthusiasm to have a healthy lifestyle.
Write your healthy resolutions and place them on the refrigerator so that you can read them every time you want to eat something.
DAILY: Try to drink at least 8 cups of water, walk for at least 30 minutes, eat 2.5 cups of vegetables, 2 cups of fruit, 2 portions of animal protein, only 5 portions of grains and 3 portions of daily.
AND IT’S VERY IMPORTANT to reduce the consumption of salt and oil, and avoid them as much as possible. In the case of oil, the healthiest recommendation is olive oil, but the maximum DAILY consumption is 2 teaspoons. For example, if you want to use a chicken breast it is better to use lime juice. That will give it a better flavor and will not allow the meat to stick to the pan. Remember that it is only a bit of juice and if you overdo it there will be a bitter flavor in the meat.
Reducing the consumption of oil will help you have better blood circulation and if you add the balance in the daily consumption of flours and protein, surely your body will thank you.
