When you get involved on campus, you open the door to a world of endless networking and social engagement opportunities. It is from these experiences that you will meet your friends for life and develop the relationships and connections which can serve you throughout your personal and professional careers. When you come to Fort Hays State University, for instance, you immediately become a member of the Tiger family consisting of more than 60,000 alumni living worldwide.
Tigers4Ever, the student alumni organization at Fort Hays State University, is the connection to the Tiger family and the more than 100 years of Tiger pride and traditions celebrated by each new generation. Through networking opportunities and career-enhancing events that help bridge the gap between current FHSU students and alumni, Tigers4Ever aims to provide the students of today with the tools, skills and knowledge of how to be an alum of tomorrow.
This knowledge comes through a variety of events and activities such as alumni panels that share valuable post-graduate and career information ranging from proper attire to interview skills and salary negotiating, to serving as alumni event ambassadors and/or facilitating various fundraising activities in support of Tigers4Ever programming. Other activities have included grocery bingo, games on the quad, the annual Spring Kick-off football event and more.
Much like paid members of the Alumni Association, paid Tigers4Ever members receive a number of special gifts, discounts and incentives as a part of the member benefits package. Non-tangible benefits to membership include opportunities for leadership roles and training in addition to the instilment of Tiger pride at Fort Hays State.
When you come to college, you are a student. When you leave, you are a graduate and an alum. And, at Fort Hays State, you should always be a “Tiger4Ever”!
