A cycle ends

The end of the year signals that a cycle or period of time ended and a new one is about to begin. This is particularly practical for our administrative or accounting affairs. But for many of us it is the moment when we choose to end a cycle and begin the new one with some change.

Normally we try to choose a specific day to start a project or make a change in our lives. Almost always “on Monday”, “when the month begins”, “on my birthday”, or “on my anniversary” are the days we like to start. That is why New Year’s Resolutions are so popular. The problem is that almost always, we think of or decide on these on the last days or the final day of the year.

It is important to think ahead of what we want to do, if it the appropriate time, if it is really what we want and that our objective is very clear, realistic and above all… feasible.

Before starting, read, inform yourself, check the internet as much as you can on things relating to what you want to accomplish and check with professionals.

Initiating a change or new project is normally very exciting, make up your mind!

There exist a series of recommendations by professionals to make everything go well:

• Write your goal and keep it in view.

• Don’t delay it, start now.

• Start slow. Don’t underestimate the time and energy that you will need.

• Prepare mentally and convince yourself that you can achieve it.

• Don’t be too demanding, give yourself time.

• Be consistent, even if you fail, return to it or restart

• Avoid negative attitudes and keep away from bad influences

This year, finish with “that cycle” that affects your life personally, emotionally or economically and begin a new one of improvements… it’s your decision.

We wish you a year of positive changes in your life!
