Eat more fruits and vegetables



We are beginning the months and it’s a good time to implement new strategies to improve health. One of those strategies is increasing the consumption of fruits and vegetables in order to get more fiber and thereby improve digestion and avoid falling into the excess consumption of carbohydrates given that these months are unfortunately packed with cakes, breads, tamales, burritos, tortillas, donuts, etc, etc.


The best thing is to think of dishes that we can eat based on the winter season, but let’s increase the quantity of vegetables in preparation. For example, if you are going to prepare a beef stew, remember to put enough different vegetables to make this stew have a greater amount of vitamins and fibers, that way it will be a good option for your family.


Another example can be the preparation of gelatins with fruit, but the fruit should be fresh, for example, strawberries, grapes, pineapple, peaches that will give the dessert a touch to make it have a great variety of vitamins and fiber, in this way it will be a good option for your family.
