El Centro celebrates 40 years
On Nov. 19, El Centro, Inc. celebrated its 40th. anniversary at the Embassy Suites in Olathe, Kan.
During the celebration, its Board of Directors found a way to make sure they connect their past to their present and beyond by renaming their building located at 650 Minnesota, in Kansas City, Kan., as the Richard A. Ruiz Administrative Building.
A well deserve honor… “for his many years of service, to the incorporation of our endowment, to helping the overall revitalization of the KCK downtown.”
“We thank Mr. Ruiz for creating a foundation for a solid future!” said Irene Salazar-Caudillo, El Centro’s president and CEO. “We had a great time celebrating our past, present and future. We are grateful for all those in attendance and to all our partners who have made 40 years truly amazing for so many people we serve. I am looking forward to the next 40!”
